PAYMENT

All payments made on this site are processed by Stripe Inc, a third party payment processor. We do not keep your credit card information. You must comply with the terms and conditions of all agreements between you and Stripe, and if you have any disputes regarding the processing of your payment you must deal directly with Stripe Inc to deal with the dispute.

CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on them. Those works are protected by intellectual property laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any of our illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

PRIVACY

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit and use our Site (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include 'anonymous data', namely data where the identity has been removed.

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you.

We have identified that data into the following groups:

  1. Your name: Your first name, last name, your account name
  2. Contact Information: Your email address, shipping address
  3. Financial & Transaction Data: Your payment record. All payments made on this site are processed by Stripe Inc, and your financial data is kept on Stripe.
  4. Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access our Site.
  5. Profile Data: Your password, subscriptions/orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.
  6. Usage Data: Includes information about how you use Glossika. This data is collected and shared with Google Analytics and Google Signals.
  7. Marketing and Communications Data: Your communication preferences in receiving marketing from us stored in third-party services (Mailchimp.com for emails and Intercom.com for customer service).


We also collect Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data to understand market trends and to consistently improve our products.

We do not collect any Personal Data about you (for example: race, ethnicity, religious/political/sexual/philosophical affiliations or beliefs, etc).

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?

We use different ways to collect data from and about you including through:

  • Direct interactions. You may give us your Identity, Contact and Financial Data by completing online forms, purchasing our service or by contacting us whether by email, posts or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you; (i) apply to use the Glossika service, subscribe, or purchase other products we might offer; (ii) create an account on our site; (iii) subscribe to our newsletters; (iv) enter a competition, promotion or survey; or (v) send feedback to us.
  • Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our site, we may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies. We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies.
  • Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive personal data about you from third parties such as Intercom, Google Analytics, Stripe, etc.
  • Voice Recordings: Voice recordings will be compiled for speech analysis and future development.


We keep your information on our hosting provider's servers. Currently, ai.glossika.com and all related data and information are hosted on Digital Ocean and Amazon Web Services.

THE RIGHT TO ERASURE

If you want to be erased and wish your account to be removed, please contact us via email (support@glossika.com) or Intercom realtime chat via the homepage. We’ll delete all the information we keep about you, with the exception of anything required to comply with the law. Once you confirm that you want to delete your account, we’ll remove/anonymize all the information we have about you in our systems. We’ll also remove your information from all our activity logs and data stored in third-party systems.

MARKETING

If you have signed up for a mailing list (including the free trial), we may occasionally send you mail containing newsletters, product samples, special offers, or other news about our company.

You may opt out from any mailing list at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

THIRD PARTIES

We will not give your personal information to third parties unless necessary and we will ask your permission first. For example, if you win a prize and we need to give your details to a delivery service to deliver the price.

SECURITY & ACCESS

We care about security, and we limit the number of people who have access to your information. Please regularly update your browser and system and use a secure internet connection to prevent bad actors from gaining access to your data, and do not enter your personal information into websites that you do not trust.

COOKIES

We use cookies to store and retrieve information on your browser. We use this information to make the website to perform to your expectations; it does not personally identify you, but it tailors your interaction to give you a more personalized experience.

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some or all parts of the Glossika service may become inaccessible or not function properly. List of Cookies:

1- Session Cookie: This cookie allow us to remember your language and currency preferences, as well as any items you have added to your shopping cart for making a purchase. You will not be able to make a purchase if you do not allow this cookie.

2- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand which pages of our site visitors view, and how they move between different pages of the site. This information is not personally identifiable, and the data collected is not shared with any third parties.

If you enable the Do Not Track browser setting, we will block these cookies and you will not be tracked but our online services may consistently malfunction under this condition.

REFUND POLICY

Subscriptions

Subscriptions for the current month are final. A cancellation of your subscription will cancel any following payments. You may upgrade your subscription plan at any time. You may downgrade your subscription plan within 60 days of payment to receive a refund on the remaining amount calculated at the 30 USD monthly rate.

Electronic Downloads

Electronic items sold are final. All products have a number of sample pages available on the product page, and a sample version of the audio to try before purchase. Please contact customer service for help.

Physical Items

You may return physical items within 30 days in the original packaging and condition you received them for a refund. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping to our fulfillment center in Taiwan.
