The new Glossika is here, and you've already got access

If you're new here: this is a language app built around one idea: you understand a language by hearing it constantly, in volume, before you ever try to produce it. Everything below is designed around that.

If you've used Glossika before: the app you know is now called Glossika Legacy. This is its replacement. Log in with your original email and password, and everything you've built (your reps, your streak, your subscription) comes with you automatically. Nothing to redo, nothing to repurchase.

Open browsing, no pressure, no streak to protect. Native speaker audio and video, your pace, your topics, your choice of voices.

Hear the language the way people actually speak it. Real accents from real speakers, not generated audio. Regional and dialectal variety, not a committee's average of it.

Learn the variety you're actually going to use. Filter by variety, individual voice, or voice gender. Pick the people you want to learn from.

Watch as well as listen. Where video exists, you can switch between audio and video for the same material. Several languages have video now, and we’re adding more content daily.

Practice without a streak to protect. No guilt attached to a missed day. Browse at your own pace, save what catches your ear, come back when you want to.

Structured practice, built for the moment you're ready to move from hearing to saying.

What you can hear becomes what you can say. Dictation has you write exactly what you hear, sentence by sentence, by filling in the blanks. This sharpens listening precision and reinforces sentence structure at the same time, so half-recognized words turn into words you can produce.

Stop sounding like a textbook. Shadow by speaking along with native audio in real time, matching pace, rhythm, tone, and intonation. Your speech is analyzed against the original while you practice, with immediate feedback. Shadowing is available for every language on Glossika.

Stop wasting reps on things you already know. Fixed review is now an adaptive system that tracks exactly which items you're weakest on and how well you've mastered each one, then gives you the right amount of practice at the right time.

If you're switching from Glossika Legacy

Your progress moves with you automatically. Reps, total time, streak, saved sentences: all of it, the first time you log in to the new app. If you're a paying subscriber, your access carries over too, at no extra cost.

One thing to know: the transfer happens once, at your first login. After that, the two apps track separately. Anything you practice on Legacy from that point on stays on Legacy, and the new adaptive system never sees it. So the earlier you switch, the sooner every rep counts toward the system that's actually going to keep improving.

Legacy isn't disappearing today, but there's no upside to waiting. Everything that made it worth using is already in the new app, plus everything it couldn't do.
